This entertaining Guardian piece in which a bunch of hand-wringing liberals beg the question
'are these pixels ethically sourced' makes me marvel at the Chinese prison system. Admittedly getting locked up because you reported the corrupt local government to the corrupt central government and then got turned into an Elf Lord for your trouble isn't exactly my idea of justice, but for genuine criminals their lives are, for a while, made productive.
Unfortunately no politician in this wonderfully 'progressive' country of mine has the balls to enforce hard labour on serious criminals, even of the pixel variety.
That would be against their human rights, you see?
