New users PM issue

I can't store any messages in my pm inbox! This means that no one can pm me is this actually a problem or is the pm system disabled for a reason?

It was disabled for spam prevention. Just level up to 12 posts or more and it will be open for you. Become a Regular and you pretty much have access to everything.
