Law of influence simply states: leadership is influence

Leadership is misunderstood. Some people believe that they need a high job tittle, high rank in the military or a high status to be a leader. This not the case. a leader is determined by his influence in people:

When you speak do people listen?
when you give suggestions, do they respect it?
When you lead, do people follow?

Don't listen to the claims of people being a leader. In many cases, true leaders do not look very impressive.
EX: Harriet Tubman, who was a black female and had a studdering issues was able to lead people out of safety by the creation of the underground railroad. She had never lost anyone with whom she helped. She was truly a leader because of her strong influence.

knowledge is important in a leader, but knowledge alone does not equate to being a leader. Some of the smartest people in the world, do not carry the necessary skills in influencing people.

leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less.
