List of Reputable Online Retail Stores

The idea is to get a list of sites we think are safe.

Please post links to sites you have purchased from and ideally post what you've purchased:

> www.dx.com - dx (dealextreme) sells cheap junk, they often don't have the item which means several weeks waiting, but they do eventually ship.
Purchases: Phone-covers, earphones. I wouldn't trust these people with anything more than USD$20.00.

> www.cartgoo.com - cartgoo is relatively new, free-shipping means it goes through chinapost (they have a non-english buggy tracking system). Got the item within two weeks. Small selection.
purchases: An Android phone (~USD$200.00).

> www.chinavasion.com - chinavasion is a decent site, good tablet prices, reasonably speedy shipping (no free shipping).
Purchaes: An Android phone (~USD$200.00)

If you are buying musical equipment, Thomann is a must. You get 3 years standard warranty, 30 days money back guarantee, and the prices are the cheapest I've ever seen. Going to get a Yamaha MOX 8 soon (hopefully, if I can afford it!) :) I've purchased a Korg SP170 piano, Superlux HD 330 headphones, keyboard stand, and a piano pedal off them. Absolutely brilliant.

www.4wheelonline.com Simply the most complete, inexpensive, and reputable source on der netz for any aftermarket truck, jeep, or ATV upgrade parts you could ever imagine. And they ship about 98% of everything they stock for free anywhere in the lower 48.

http://www.lockpickshop.com/ Got my lockpicks from here. Arrived in 10 days and cost me about $9.50 US shipping to NZ.

http://www.taydaelectronics.com/ Dirt-cheap parts. I've gotten some IR mosfets that were some knockoff brand, defective voltage regulators, etc. But overall they're damn good for the price. EXCELLENT friendly service and fairly fast shipping, even if some of their stuff is chinky. Hell, I'd say 95% of what they sell is golden.

http://hightechdealz.com/ For all your eye-popping needs. Friendly service once again, bought an LPC826 module and glass lens, the guy was even kind enough to put the lens in the module for me and the regular plastic lens in a little baggie. I wouldn't trust those shitfire batteries no matter where you get them though.

http://pacificgeek.com/ Computer parts. Good source of old legacy stuff. Not always the best prices but if you hunt around you can find some good deals.
