If you are anything like me you are using different computer all the time. Computers with different hard drives, Operating systems, and configurations. And trying to play a game is a BITCH when you have to keep track of you save files and keep reinstalling it on different computers. I used to actually carry my hard drive around and whenever I wanted to play a game I would hook it up to whatever computer I was near at the time.
Thankfully, someone else has felt my pain. I'm talking about no install games. Where and download them. Extract them and play. No installation at all. And the best part about this is now I can keep my favorite games on a flash drive that I always have with me anyway.
But, not all games are like this. But I think more people need to do this. So I am going to try and have a comprehensive list of all the real* games available and where to download them.
Also, if anyone else knows any games like this please contribute to the thread, I'll edit them in below.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Garrys Mod
Halo
Portal
Sim City 3000
Starcraft + Brood War Exapnsion
The Sims
*Retail games, not flash games.
