One of the most twisted, deranged books I've ever read. Any other fans?..I used to think the movie was pretty intense but its like a fucking G rated version of the book.
The way it goes into intense details about everything I found quite bizarre...
Lent it to one of my parents friends to read and they deemed it filth and it was never returned (claimed they lost it). Fuck I want another copy of this book.
It even came with a seal if i remember correctly, so that you couldn't flick through it in the shops and read anything too disturbing...Heh.

I liked the heavy use of detail they use in the book as well, and I agree, the movie was relatively tame compared to the book. Hell, the part where he kills a kid just to see if "he likes it" is just insane. But cool, nevertheless.

I thought the movie was a comedy of sorts.
