How do I crack a password protected .rar file?

Hi all,
I've come across this .rar archive that I need opened, however it's encrypted and protected by a password. Does anyone know of any free or p2p down-loadable programs that can crack these? I'm running Windows 7 btw. Maybe a bruteforce attack would do it, but I think that would take a while. A lot of the free trial programs only work on passwords up to 3 characters in length etc, and this rar file has a larger protection. Not sure on its level of encryption etc etc, but it can't be THAT hard to get through, can it? Maybe there are other ways of getting into the information that I don't know of. Any help would be appreciated, me will love you long tiem.

Funnily enough that program's not accepting my rar files lol. Saying it doesn't support it? Wtf? It's supposed to be a rar password recovery tool lol
Sometimes winrar associates tar, zip, isos and other file-extensions as .rar. Although the extension might say .rar, it could possibly be another filetype.
The files properties say it's "WinRAR archive (.rar)", is that the way to know for sure?
I googled the program and found this comment:
"Would not recognize my RAR file, when all the other password tools do. Even upgraded to the newer version 6.1.1.146 and it failed as well.
Either it is coded to work with newest version of rar or does not support the version I created my RAR file with.

It's an awesome .rar brute forcer, the fastest I've seen yet, and the super thing about it is: it can use the CUDA cores of NVidia GPU's. If you've got a decent NVidia GPU this means it can crack 400 passes per second instead of 15.
Couple minor points to add: It's command line only (but windows and linux), you shouldn't let it run on the GPU you're using and you will probably need to install the included registry hack in Windows Vista or 7.
Nvidia Optimus technology ROCKS in this case because the cracking only happens on your Nvidia GPU so your CPU and integrated GPU are still available which means you can keep using your laptop for anything but gaming / movies / youtube while it's cracking passes like crazy.
Hey, thanks for that. I will try it. Anything that use GPU for added Acceleration is cool IMO.
It's truely awesome. Only works with NVIDIA cards that have CUDA cores though.

The site looked extremely unofficial, kinda sketchy. I finished downloading a 14 GB archive and might put it to use this night. The OP didn't post the password.
