Last I heard you can't downgrade windows version without doing a full reformat/install. I tried it on my Toshiba laptop because Vista was pissing me off in Iraq and it literally told me to go fuck myself.

Yeah, this. 7 is pretty good. I have compatibility errors here and there, but nothing too problematic.
