Need advice from former Zoklet mod

edited January 2011 in Help and Suggestions
My questions pertain to a little prank I'm planning. A little advice via pm would be much appreciated.

Why does it have to be a Zoklet mod?

Well mabye it doesn't. Let me ask you this, say I edit a post from myself from over a year ago, can the moderators see that I've edited it without manually opening the thread and checking? Say I edit multiple posts, can they see which ones I've edited or would they have to go through post by post to find the changes?

If it's Vbulletin than I would assume they have to go through to find the changes. It wouldn't just show up.

I appreciate your advice in spite of our differences, it seems you have some class, whereas Fanglkkii is so upset he resorts to childish derailment in what should be a serious forum.

Meanwhile I would like to hear from DFG and perhaps Spectral on this matter, only because they spent time moderating over there.

I tried that what you're doing. You can edit your posts and it wil not bump up your threads. But it will show the editing time .

Like for example if I make this post and edit it later everyone can see the editing time. Plus, mods can see edited changes as well.

    gay porn everywhere. have fun

I always thought that if an admin/mod edited the post then it doesn't show up as being edited... But I'm probably wrong. I rarely edit my posts, but it sounds like a good idea if you can make it work.

Thanks everybody for ignoring the butthurt troll.

No I'm not going to put gay porn everywhere, however, if it came to the mods attention that there were things that needed to be removed, would they have to manually check each one of my old threads? Or would they, using my recent post history, be able to see right away all my newly edited posts?

I'm almost positive that they would have to manually look through all the threads to see if you edited it. People edit posts all the time so it would be a huge headache if it always showed up that someone edited it.
