My Parents

edited January 2011 in Spurious Generalities
Yesterday while I was eating dinner, my parents were on Twitter looking at my profile, checking out my tweets and my followers etc. I was sitting there on the couch, eating dinner and watching them in between watching things on the TV.

Soon after, they've brought up Dfg's Twitter page and are reading tweets about making bombs and being a pedophile, all whilst admiring the Totse background which he has on his Twitter page.

"Who's Dfg from Pakistan?"

"I have no idea, he's from Pakistan..."

I remained seated, eating dinner and chuckling to myself silently.

I don't get it, so your parents follow you on twitter and look at your profile?? or they were just lurking over your page being nosey while you had it up?

Them asking about Dfg is pretty funny.

I don't even think my parents know I have a twitter page.. or actually I don't think anyone I know IRL knows I have twitter cause I mainly just use it to troll and make tweets on threads I think are worthy like Dfg does

Heheh, I love it when someone views my tweets and facepalms. It's a wonder I am not banned on twitter hahaha.

My dad follows me on Twitter, and he was showing my mom something on the PC. She decided to click onto Twitter and they just started snooping around my tweets for the lulz.

No. Would be a good feature to implement though, I'll speak to them about it later and perhaps we will conduct a feasibility study on the matter.

It's quite good, actually. I turned it away for years, until I got a smartphone and thought I'd give it a shot. It's much better than facebook - constant stream of updates from people you want to hear about, and there's no added bells or whistles. It's pure information and good reading material, no BS.

My girlfriend learned to stop asking questions a long time ago.

After I came back home, and I moved back in she's not really snooped. Or if she has, just learned not to care. All the porn and totse shit would be incriminating to anyone else. Either the answers wouldn't please her, or she just doesn't care. Which I'm fine with. Less pathetic jealousy, whiney bullshit makes for a better relationship. She never really got the point of this place anyhoo. I showed her the original totse, and she even noticed this one was "tiny" compared to the old school one that I would surf on before leaving.

    My girl is the tits.
