Eurovision song contest. IIRC its from 2009 or 2010. They are celebrating because Estonia (the country's flag) received 12 points from another country.

@OP I tried to warn you of the course you were taking. I even took the time to illustrate in writing that the action you were intent on would lead to fear and pain on your part. I am sure that DFG gave you a chance to repent and move forward with a lesson learned. I am also sure he did this in a discreet fashion to help you save face.
Your reaction as evidenced by this thread is all the proof the entire community needs witness to determine that you were never well suited for responsibility or authority.
You speak of the fairness of your socialist Utopian dream and start silly little online clubs like the ALF thinking that you know what is best for all. Sit back and imagine yourself with the absolute power which was Hitler's or Stalin's. Now compare that to the molecule of power you held for a short time on a forum.
If you abused this small token of authority how could you (or anyone for that matter) hope to hold absolute power without fucking up royally as in the case of both Stalin and Hitler.

"Do what thou will and it harm none" is the best path for all. Last night you used your power to prevent another from expressing themselves in the manner they saw fit. You need to see this for what it really was. It was not you saving the community from useless no content posting. There was on topic content to every post made by the Yoda account. It did not agree with your position nor was it presented in a format to your liking.
You then proceeded to to warn the account for flooding after two separate, distinct posts both of which touched on the topic of the thread. You then procceded to post in that thread you intention to ban if the account posted in the thread again stating that you did not care if you were demodded for it or not. This is a very strong indication that you knew, deep down, that you were on the wrong path.
When "Yoda" replied directly to you in the thread explaining that the first two replies were on topic. When this was followed by further opinions on the original topic of the thread you finished your journey to the "dark side" by infracting for something which was not done knowing it would ban and silence a user you did not like and who was making your point of view look bad.
The community has learned from this and you could have as well. Your reaction to all this makes the loss entirely yours.
Actually I'm not mad at all. I already PM'd Dfg and apologized for the way I went through with this. I was in the wrong on this one. Mainly for the childish way I handled it and made threads such as this one. I don't want to mod but I will continue to post here like I always have. Being piss drunk did not help my judgment on this one either. Let's hope drama and other situations can be avoided in the future.
