It's just a thread to cover the overhead and keep an account of donations. It also acts as a progress bar for users. I am sure Hellish will fix the bar and give us the good news but in case something happens, it would be nice to have a manual system in place.
Procedure is simple. Post in this thread and mention how much you paid. Be honest. If the Admin decides to award users with something, this list might make it easy for the Administration to get things moving.

I don't understand why that number is lower than the actual amount though, if you click donate it says we have donated $149. Maybe people that donated haven't posted in this thread yet.

This. I did the verify thing a long ass time ago. I prefer to use my CC if I'm buying something, but with this one I did a direct transfer. I remember the verification thing was pretty fast. I asked for it, they transferred the small amounts in probably 30 mins, I verified it, and that was it.
