I am really enjoying an old game called Wizardry8, it is a solid first person turn based RPG, and it is nice to have something to really get my teeth into again. Also it runs slick as a greased weasel on my low end netbook. I like the Infinity Engine games as well, but I prefer first person type.
So does anyone have any suggestions for games I might like? I prefer turn based RPG's with lots of different character classes, older DOS games are great as well, but I think I have played most of the ones I might like. It seems like games made for windows xp run very slick on my little pooter.

You'll probably find better answers here http://www.google.com/search?&q=turn+based+site:mmorpg.com
You are entirely correct. But why? I like having a moment to think over my parties moves. I like having massive amounts of crap and "detailing" my party. The FF series was the last bastion of turn based RPGs, and I hope they continue.
Thanks for the link though. Good info for when I get another console system, and the OP had the same mindset as me.
Yeah, all the RPGs I can think of now are real-time. It's probably because turn-based isn't fast enough to keep modern society interested. Everything has to be instant.
Thanks! They're in the pipe now.
