Girl Scout cookie combat: A cookie monster arrested

Hersha C. Howard, 31, of Golden Gate Estates, was arrested Sunday by Collier County Sheriff's deputies and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a fight with another woman — over a box of Thin Mints Girl Scout cookies, reports the Naples Daily News.
Howard allegedly came into her roommate's bedroom while she was sleeping and accused her of eating her cookies. The roommate told her she had given the cookies to Howard's hungry children, and even offered to pay for the cookies, according to reports.
The argument became nasty and very, very physical: The woman's husband had to intervene, but was powerless to stop the escalating violence.
