The issue is that it has gotten worse over time, at the moment I'm trying to get many things done in real life but can't focus, get on edge quickly because of the boredom.

I just want my life back, what should I do?

    I'll bet you're a troll. I used to think i had a similar problem.

Then i realised all i needed to do was do what i had to do. Man up.

I'm tempted to be a dick, but I'm feeling more generous at the moment.

There are a few programs out there that give you "free time." It shuts down your internet connections for a specified amount of time at scheduled intervals.

Pick one up, and ween yourself away. Go outside. Read a physical book. Whatever you do, increase the time your connection is down until you think you can have it on all the time without needing to use it constantly.

Troll? My post count and online activity back on Zoklet speaks for itself.

Alright then, I'm sorry. I'll give you a more thoughful answer:

What exactly are you addicted too? Is it games? Is it communities? Is it facebook? Is it porn?

Depending on what it is, you can do different things. Simply Doing your stuff in a designated area, like the local library will get rid of most of the distractions. If you have headphones, don't take them with you. Downgrade your mobile data plan.

One option is making a list of tasks and a time you have to do it by. I found that to be depressing so i stopped doing it but it was very effective.

I sometimes wonder just how dependent I am on the internet. I never go a day without it - I have to get my daily fix of Totse or else I can't actually concentrate too well at college. Once I've gotten on it and checked the new threads, I can work a lot better.

    Who knows.

Go camping for a couple of weeks this summer, not faggot R.V. camping either. Just you, a couple of books, a basic kit, and just enough food to get you by. You will find that your day is surprisingly full, just making morning coffee is a one hour task. Do it solo, but make sure people know where you are. That ought to get you some perspective at least.

As with all addictions, the trick is to ween yourself off and keep yourself occupied. I hate being away from the Internet for the first few days of a holiday, but I soon realise it's quite nice not to be tied to the computer.

Aye. I've noticed that after being away from the computer for a while, I start finding other stuff to keep me occupied. It's not so bad in the end to be honest.

    1) Fuck up your online reputation to make everyone hate you.

    2) Get perma banned

    3) Fap to dvd's instead of online pr0n or get a slutwhore to bang.

    4) Exercise

    5) Find hobbies and things to keep occupied

    6) Try to stay away from do-gooders, nerds, politically correct liberal douches, ect. They will make you miss sites like Totse, where all the cool people are:cool:.

    7) Molest children. It won't really help your addiction, but it's just something fun to do.

I know it isn't easy but try finding a job, hobby, relationship or all of those for which you will be very fucked if you don't dedicate a good amount of time which would normally go to internet. This sounds sad but maybe give Warhammer miniatures a go. Try painting them, and do it as much as you can. You still won't ever be satisfied with your army.
