Tips on drinking straight everclear?

I have some 95% grain alcohol on hand, and I took a pull and chased it down right away, but I still gagged like a whore...any tips?

This is some rancid stuff to drink straight. I bet after this I'll be able to chuck vodka like it was water

Try holding your nose when drinking it so you don't get a taste of all the alcohol. I guess that doesn't really do much for the "spirity tang" which you get while drinking it though.

Mix it with water and dilute down to 1%.

Start drinking isopropanol, then work your way up to methanol. Once you're used to that, 95% ethanol will be nothing.

You just have to get used to it. When I first started drinking 151 I gagged but a few shots later I was putting it down like a champ.

I usually have no problem drinking it straight but your throat will hurt the next day. Don't be a puss just drink it. You'll get used to it.

Pretty much what has been said. It's fucking almost pure alcohol. Man the fuck up and drink it. and be prepared for a sore ass fucking throat tomorrow.
