What are some factors I should consider when performing research on sleep and dreams. I already have quite a long list of considerations just looking for more input.

To have a lucid lifestyle is to have lucid dreams, I get most my dream interpretation from Carl Yung, but a recent one has me stumped, what do armies mean in a dream? Then again the only real interpretation is mine and sometimes after thinking a few days I will have a realization of what the dream really means. I wonder why.
