Are you serious OP? How is sword fighting and pretend spell-craft not cool?

Well, not all Metal is about fantasy. Although if this is your opinion OP I must ask what's your ideal form of music.

If metal were happy-go-lucky it would be a nicer world:

Where I live, metal has a whole different meaning. I'd post some Youtube videos but TOR is being a bitch :(

What the hell is "metal" these days anyway? Do modern metalheads even think bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Metallica are(were) metal, or are they lumped in with geezer rock because they are too slow and the singers don't sound like cookie monster?

I notice metalheads still wear ripped jeans, jackets with band patches, and long hair, this much has not changed, in fact I saw a bunch on the bus tonight looking and acting pretty much the same as I did, noisy and annoying. Good on em', hope they at least listen to a little of the old stuff, and hunt hippies when they're in season.

Metal has gotten to a sad state when electronic dance music has become heavier than them.
