I think it would be a good idea to have a sort of book club for movies. We vote on a movie we've never seen, watch it, then discuss. What do you think? Group Link

Hmm.. don't really have any ideas for any movies but here's a list of some recently released movies at Blockbuster. Maybe we could have a vote on some of those??
We need to pick movies nobodies seen. Did anyone watch a town called panic? I was thinking we could watch one of the classic movies, like citzen kane or vertigo. I've never seen them and I know most of you haven't we're all pretty young here.
Please resurrect this its a great idea. Also vertigo is awesome, i would recommend Rosemarys baby and the original Psycho if you liked Vertigo. And Citizen Kane sucks balls. It kindof relys on camera tricks that will seem dated to a modern audience although if its viewed for its time its pretty good but i was bored as fuck. If you want to see a good Orson Welles film (and he is an amazing director) Touch of Evil is my fav. Pretty much the typical Film Noir detective story but with so much class and some awesome flourishes its hard not to love it. Its worth watching just for the first scene which is one of the first continuous steadycam shots which lasts over 2 minutes (if you thought the scene in goodfellas or oldboy was good watch this).
So basically this is a bump hoping to get this thread going again cus its a pretty sweet idea that doesnt seem to have gone anywhere

I watched Pirate Radio it was good, but not great. PSH is the shit.
I plan on watching it later this afternoon if I don't get caught up in anything. The one I downloaded is only 2 hours.
