I am glad that others are finally waking up. I have been shouting this type of information since the early 80's and until recently everyone has just looked at me like I was Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory. Of course the whole Satanic angle this guy is playing is one I distance myself from but other than that he touches on some key points. I just hope this current generation wakes up to this and has the balls to take the actions that will be required to maintain another generation of freedom.

As an advisor it is my job to advise i.e. give advice. I will not proclaim to be a "Totse specialist" but I think it can be easily agreed that this thread belongs in HB. Once an appropriate mod signs in it will be moved. My advice to you OP is to try to remember the purpose of each section and try to post accordingly. This thread might not be moved to HB. It might be sent to NIMF. That possibility can be avoided by simply paying closer attention to the section you're posting in. If you you can't comply you should.... "Try harder or cry harder".

Some parts of Totse were filled with shit, some were filled with pure genious. Trolls were everywhere, and nobody cared. Nobody cared, not because they didn't care about Totse. On the contrary. Living with free speech meant putting up with the shit free speech sometimes caused. Both online and offline, Totse's free speech attracted troubles. Serious people wanting to bring Totse down kinda troubles. And both online and offline, Jeff Hunter made sure his site kept going like a swiss watch. Sometimes a swiss watch with sand in it's gears which needed repairs, but whatever. The site stayed up, and it remained a place where free speech was the cause, not just a slogan. And because of that, Totse attracted a huge ammount of members.
The idea that somebody could "ruin the community" by dissing the mods, spamming, posting off topic, derailing threads or any other action which involved words being typed on a screen was rediculous. The community wasn't hurt by free speech. Off course not. Free speech was what Totse was all about.
Off course, now and then, again and again, somebody in the admin ranks would think of free speech as a bad thing. That story would always play the same way: Loads of permabans, loads of threads filled to the brim with hurt feelings and drama, and in the end Jeff Hunter stepping in to demod the perpetrators and unban the unrightfully banned members.
That, kids, is the true story of Totse. Absolute freedom of speech. Jeff didn't care about "protecting the community" or "increasing the userbase" or "reeling in more content" or "contributors". All he cared about was freedom of speech. And because he guaranteed that freedom of speech, loads of interesting people would naturally flock to the Temple. The resulting community was a chaotic web of interesting people and kidiots all united in their freedom to curse everyone out and say whatever the hell they wanted to say. Freedom of speech was the only thing that made Totse into Totse. Not the admins, not the 90's internet background. Freedom of speech.

I never had any issues with Totse2. Considered them a part of family. Never really tried to harm them, instead even stopped others from doing that to them. But since the attack came from them, it just showed how things work. So, from this point onwards, Totse2 is out of the equation for good. They made their move and it's DONE. They're marked as untrusted. Any user coming from that place isn't going to be trusted from this point onwards.
