Man Strangled Wife After She Smashed 'Star Wars toys

She deserved it.

A 30-year-old British man was found guilty of murder for strangling his wife, whom he said had damaged his extensive collection of "Star Wars" toys.Rickie La Touche, also known as Rickie Nehls, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 12 yearsLa Touche confessed to killing Pornpilai Srisroy, 28, in April at their house in Leigh, Greater Manchester. He told Preston Crown Court that Srisroy tried to make his life miserable by, among other things, smashing a collection of "Star Wars" memorabilia he had built up since childhood.

    If she destroyed a Darth Vader toy she got what was coming to her but if it was some faggy Luke Skycocker toy then that was a bit over the top.

    I dont think it was just over the toys. It was most likley pent up hostility building over a number of years. Destroying his personal property was the last straw.

    I sympathise with the poor bloke. Maybe it was all just in a fit of rage, but damn - I'm sure a woman would feel the same way over her Childhood toys.

    Imagine collecting rare objects since childhood, and then having them destroyed in front of you by a thoughtless woman for the lulz.

    She had probably never even watched Star Wars.
    This reminds me of when I was a kid in London, some crackheads broe into our garage and stole all my dad's fishing gear he had since he was a kid. His reaction from that alone was enough to upset me as he had a shit childhood with 2 disabled parents.

    I can empathise with this guy.
