I heard of this while watching "Have I got news for you", a UK program about news stories etc, and some of the phrases they banned are just pure comedy.
Source.Phrases such as "beat your meat," "fairy," and "lovegun" are among the list of words banned in text messages by the Pakistani Telecommunication Authority.
Source.The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority's ban on 1,600 words deemed "pornographic or offensive to Islam" has flabbergasted much of the international media. Now, many global gay rights advocates are drawing attention to the number of LGBT-related words on the black list.

I'm gonna get in touch with the ISI to ban any communication of the terms "fucking sniper" and "fucking spy"
They banned "hostage" and "sniper"....
They also missed off Fap, Fapping, Wanker and Wanking. Is this because it's a national pastime over there?
And all the ass references, being English I would type arse anyway would this avoid censorship?
