I know very few people who've even heard of this band. I think they're pretty great. Their genre is "post modern rock" whatever the hell that means. The top four songs are some of my favorites. Particularly Sleep and Storm. These are really long songs which usually have a good crescendo close to the end. Click here to listen.

    I'm pretty sure it's shortened to post-rock in most cases. But yeah, Godspeed You! are pretty rad.

    Thats the south for you. Honestly, all of my favorite bands I've found on the intarwebs. They never play any of the music I like on any radio station here. I do have a few friends that know about GSYBE but they know about them from the same source that I do. Anyone I ask other than them is clueless.
