Have you ever met someone

Who was much younger than you and smarter?

I was helping a friend manage his cafe today when this 14 year old girl came up. She was hot, yeah yeah stfu. Well anways, she started talking to me about the economy and stuff. Not that I'm a total retard, but I'm not really into politics and stuff; subjects of that liking just bore me. Well, she seemed fascinated at how our economy and stuff works, to be honest, she taught me how the stockmarket worked and all. I felt like such a failure.

Then she went on about computers. And the little brat didn't give me a chance to shine and started naming all the topline graphics cards and specs. The fuck? It's weird watching some little kid talking about GPUs, price fixations and stuff.

And it was impossible to get mad at her. Her face was purely sincerity, she wasn't boasting or anything, she was just talking and stuff. Well anyways, we're going out tomorrow.

Yes. I meet people who are smarter than me all the time, younger and older. It's not hard when you're stupid like me. =/

Most people know more than me.

    Don't make 'em smarter. ;)

Dude, you're totally doing her in future.

Btw, I am not surprised at all. Thanks to the Internet, kids are smarter than us anyway. But they do lack life experience and even though they think they're smart, they still suck in critical areas where we excel. Mainly, sucking at life :p.

    Btw POST PICS!

This. I find myself at the borderline, although leaning more towards the young side, so I get more of the smarts but less of the life skills.

It won't be as awkward if it were a male.

14 year old girls oughta be worrying about their periods, tits, makeup, blah. Not about the status quo of our economy or overclocking your gtx 480.

Oh btw, was she Asian? Sounds like a typical Chinese girl who immigrated to N America recently.

She will be a nerdy chic in future. Tap that ass before some geek does her. And she will lose her beauty soon enough. Thank GOD for PK :). Btw since I am a Muslim, I don't mind nailing a 14-year-old. Hell, I can even marry her and have 3 14-year-olds as my wives as well.

    Islam FTW!

You have to admit that it's such a turnon though. You need to make sure this girl excels in school and does something positive with her life. Also stick it in her pooper.

And this here is exactly why YOU feel inadequate and she seems like a genius in comparison.

    a) Expectation that her gender determines her intelligence or interests

    b) The status quo of our economy is undergoing a massive paradigm shift. No longer is America necessarily the only boat that needs to be floating. Welfare and socialist dynamics are taking up a bigger and bigger part of a governments budget and thus the global economy as a whole. China and India's economies are on the verge of raping our exports and formulating a powerful and potential fueled middle class. The transition theory of the democratization process has largely been debunked and is shifting our views toward the societal effects of international business.

Yeah man, there's a whole lot to think about in this world, and the people who choose to think are the ones who are going to run it. But when the average shmuck like you feels like its weirder than being overly concerned with the most petty shit imaginable...thats just commentary of the vacuousness of our own society.

Looks like we have a new "Wires" coming to the forum, or Kinkou for that matter. Looks like I have found the third and final Global Moderator :D. Thanks for hooking me and 4J up Dysgraphia!

Least I demand is pics and your age so I can know whether to congratulate you or not.

I dunno. It's not always so simple to tell how intelligent a person is.

Also, I don't really follow politics, but I know enough to tell that most people who talk about politics only talk about it to seem smart and are actually just regurgitating whatever they heard on CNN or Fox News or whatever and don't really know what they're talking about. Especially younger people.

Maybe she just decided you seemed smart and she could talk with you about these things. Its sometimes hard to find someone to talk about the stuff you're really interested in. Pee in her butt.

That's pretty cool, OP. I've only ever met a few people who are substantially younger and smarter than me, but this is probably due to the fact that I never really put myself in a situation where I meet a younger person. I'm usually hanging out with people my age/older.

You're young, its not like your destiny is out of your hands at this point. I'm sorry if I seemed to judge you. I just feel disappointed with society, but I don't know you man, I can't throw negativity at you personally.

I see what you're getting at, and I was wrong in generating assumptions. But when you see promiscuous 13 year olds+ blabbing around how their first kiss was, it's a bit odd when you meet one that actually takes notice of our surroundings.

Not that I don't, but it's not a topic of interest I'd like to talk about with a stranger.
