I started this book a few weeks ago and still haven't managed to get through it. I've heard a lot of good things about Palahniuk, but so far this book just seems like a huge pain in the ass more than anything. The beginning was decent and kept me reading but I'm somewhere in the middle and it just seems to drag on and on by explaining the theories, history, and rules behind "Party Crashing."
Anybody else have this problem with Rant, or with Palahniuk? The only other thing I've read by him was the short story entitled "Guts" and that was (kinda) better.

Since, I use Audio Books [Can't find paper back versions in Pakistan] I am used to novels which extend some sections.
