It was okay, I loved the Freddy profile especially the part where the kids get included. Overall, the effects were great and you actually might enjoy this flick.

    I watched this Sunday and actually liked it. The ending song was perfect and one of my favorite 80's songs. I like the fact Freddy didn't play some hilarious stupid killing with knife fingers this time around. I'm liking these old school remakes because they are adding a less humor and more terrifying element to the series's that came about decades ago. Horror kind of stemmed back in the 80's and 90's from humor it seemed. It's nice to see a more serious spin to a Horror flick as getting brutally murdered is hardly something I'd joke about if it was me lol.

    The fact they added the Pedo Bear profile to Freddy made me fucking el-oh-el.

    In the original, they wanted to make him a molester. But something happened in real life around the time they were writing it and they thought it would be in bad taste. So they changed him to a child killer.

    My favorite part of this film:
    After Freddy kills the kid in the jail cell, it goes back into the kid's mind. The kid is hanging upside down with a huge hole in his chest and Freddy says something like, "Did you know that the brain continues to function for up to seven minutes after the heart stops? That leaves us with another six minutes to play." Fucking awesome.

    I don't remember TBH for some reason I was looking at the knife hands and trying to see if Freddy was lip syncing the whole time. I swear the words didn't seem to fit with his facial movement.

    I just got around to watching this. I'm glad to see the director didn't butcher this like Rob Zombie did with Halloween 2. Like a few posts up said I'm glad they got rid of the humor element. The fail humor ruined 4 and 5.
