All that tax payer resource thrown into an area raid that only netted 35 plants.
And they raided a school growing tomatoes.
Fucks sakes. That goes to show.
Police enforcement stupidity isn't just limited to where I am.
Police last month raided an Española-area school looking for marijuana growing in a greenhouse, but all they found there were tomatoes.

Don't know about your tax system DS, but our fucked up government charge nearly 80% on Tobacco and close to that on alcohol. Which are obviously addictive.
Therefore it's to hard to tax a recreational drug that can be grown almost anywhere, like weed. How do they fix it? Make it illegal...sucks I know!:(
Can't have the consumer straying away to a cheaper, tax free, alternative source than alcohol or tobacco.
They have the audacity to brand drug dealers as criminals....unbelievable.
Over here it depends on the state. Being in the socialist loving state Im in tobacco and alcohol taxes are fucking ridiculous and they just keep going up. Same thing with ammo too but I dont know that might be federal. Luckily for me Virginia isnt far away and they have almost no tax on tobacco.
So then their main intent is to make money?
What happened to protect and serve?

"We're sitting here as a teaching staff, always short on money, and we're thinking, 'Gosh, all the money it takes to fly that helicopter and hire all those people, it would be great to have this for education.' " "
lol
Haha! My brother used to live in Virginia and the taxes on a pack of cigarettes was nearly $2 I believe. Shit is retarded there.
It's a hell of a lot better than what Maryland taxes are. It's almost 8 bucks for a decent pack of smokes. That's why I switched to dip. I can get longhorn for a dollar fiddy.
Same here, it's something like 8.50 for a pack of lucky strikes. And that's on the local Indian reservation, in town it's over 10.
Roughly about $3/give or take goes to the tobacco company. and the rest goes to our governments
christmas club.
