You're referring to Itanium processors. Xeons are still supported and being produced.

600 USD excluding taxes. And it's just way too much. Unless you're running a workstation and an avid hardcore FPS player in WOGL or something, it really isn't for you. But 4 fucking PICe slots, that's just godly. I feel ya. I but my GTX 275 last year and sli enabled it with my pny 275 and thought of it as a beast. With the 480 and the $100 price drop of my old videocard, I feel lousy.
Actually the number is 7 PCIe, you can run 7 cards but only 4 would do SLI/Crossfire.
