Samuel Adams Boston Lager: I started drinking it and realized it had a somewhat tart aftertaste. Come to find out the recommended drink by date on the bottle was January 2010, lol. Now THAT'S a quality lager.
Doxylamine succinate is a potent anticholinergic and has a side-effect profile common to such drugs, including dry mouth, ataxia, urinary retention, and drowsiness. Like many antihistamines that cause drowsiness, it should not be combined with other allergy medications such as Zyrtec (Cetirizine) or Diphenhydramine, as…
Technically it's absinthe flavored spirit that is legal in the US as it's secondary components must be below a particular limit as established by the FDA. This is actually the reason why I made this thread as I have tried and own several thujone-free absinthes. Also, burning of sugar before pouring is a more recent…
Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. By all means, correct me. I made this article intending to both provide information to &T and to myself; no disrespect is taken. I would like to contend though that essential oil content of Salvia officinalis (which do note there is much contention as to the nature behind absinthe's, with…
Unfortunately, not all of it was collected as some of it was spilled when transferring it from a large boiling pot to a smaller one. SWIM is thinking about some MEK wash as per a tek s/he read.
No (seriously not), s/he is just providing an article containing collected information on a once less clarified subject. Also, SWIM is interested in a more thorough analysis to determine which age group of leaves contain the highest ratios of safr0le.
Hell yeah. But even if the algorithm to generate codes, companies like Microsoft keep an archive that the code must be registered on in order to activate. Another method is the co-op with stores to have the ringing of cards at cash registers activate the cards.
I am finally done, end to end. I yielded roughly 750mL of dark green liquid which I will boil down on the day of consumption. For now, it goes in the fridge.
That first pic is a pic from a tek which looked like my smoothie. I don't have access to a worthy camera right now and can't until tomorrow. But I'll pic the final product before I consume it.
At this point, I have cooked it 130 min. total. It has a slightly golden-amber tinge and has lowered water volume. Also, I plan on doing it Wed. or Thurs. afternoon as my uni doesn't have school on Friday, but it does this Saturday due to the number of days out from snow. And sure, when I drink it I'll get on AIM. I don't…
At this point I have washed the pieces off three or four more times in cold water, blended them, and put them in a pot on boil now. Looks like this EDIT: Oh yeh, I also coulnd't find lemon juice, so I used vinegar, LOL
Also there is contention as to the role of thujone in the alleged psychedelic effect of absinthe. Some think myristicin is responsible for the effect. There's a Frenchie somewhere unwilling to share his secret. The method described above is a combination of my research and common sense but would love more authoritative…
How did he make it? It's not supposed to be very different from normal alcohol and always tastes like shit. That sickeningly sweet taste is the anise making its full appearance. Absente has the same nauseating essence and has less virtue than even homemade absinthe.
Naum of Shroomery was awesome and provided me the Article from Economic Botany and in their study, I. parviflorum was dominated by safrole content. SWIM will obtain pics of a plant labeled as such soon ;)
My thread on shroomery never got a response, which kinda sucks. Regardless, after thinking about the amount of IBA that was once on it, the amount would only seem to give me stomach upset at the most. At any concentration it seems primarily an irritant, so a dilution of a dilution would seem accurate. Around 9:30 I'll…
I'm already at the point of no return. These cuttings were not rooted, just treated to make them so in time. One and a half I have cut up and the others I will keep to grow as they are rather healthy. I should have contacted him prior to shipping and this problem would have been rectified. At this point, I am to go to bed…
What about a simple light bulb? Seriously though, has anyone used a boro vape like the Eagle Bill or a modified test tube? I have a box of 24 Pyrex tubes layin around ....
$40 total for 5 ft. I'm really angry the dude didn't use sulfur powder or copper powder, which are far less toxic and achieve the same purpose. What is done is done. I've not cooked them yet (but they are diced :() and am saving the rest to plant again this year as my other ones had a hard frost.
Hell, upon reading the R and S phases for the rooting hormone that seller used I'm tempted to throw it out as its primary route of toxicity is via ingestion. It was acquired via ebay and the potential toxicity of the situation is my primary concern. It's run of the mill San Pedro, short spines and all. MSDS for IBA Wiki…
T. peruvianus is most notable by its spines, which are longer than even T. pachanoi non Backeberg. I'm not good with the specifics, but this what I have is a run of the mill San Pedro, Backeberg clone. I washed them off pretty well, cut the calloused ends off, and am not afraid of a little Indole-3-butyric acid. They've…
It may be in IMAX still, but it's an IFC movie so it'll be on cable/satellite by March probably. I'm looking forward to the awesomeness of the videographic evidence in it. I might huff some CO2 and radon to get the right vibe for the movie.
Seriously man, how the fuck did they not get crushed? Those contractions looked nasty, bruh. According to the wiki, So that was the male expelling his young from his pouch. So technically, he WAS jizzing babies.
Oddly enough I know someone who stopped smoking tobacco for 5 years (before they changed their formula) but now he smokes again. He wants to quit but cannot for all his might. Also this is why if you smoke, SMOKE QUALITY TOBACCO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBAuM1fLKRk
Sorry OP, but I have to say that he has a point. If she has a problem (unless there is blackmail involved or some like stupidity) you have the ability to restrict her to an extent. But even still she will do what she will in the end. So really unless you want to pull some crazy A&E Intervention shit, just tell her your…
I let it sit for nearly 12 hours in IPA after shaking, scraping, and another shaking and even still it had a faint hint of it. I've used it *daily* for nearly a year and a half now so what can one expect?
Junk mail either goes to the trash, or it gets recycled. I've started amassing newspapers (which are growing ever rarer) for substrate when I get some fungal cultures. Anyways the best local deals for anything are never advertised.
I've been using a piece of plastic to scrub the resin out, but have been needing to get a pipe cleaner. I'm trying another soak and salt for longer this time.
Sucks for you. Every Uni in the area was canceled this entire week thanks to that shit. It's like the Blizzard of '93. The shit hasn't melted off completely yet.
Would you care to define terrible? Corn/popcorn doesn't smell too bad imo when canned/autoclaved in a jar. BRF and corn are probably your best bets when it comes to smell. Wild Bird seed (mostly oats, millet, rye; NO NUTS/PROTEIN/FATS) smells nearly bad, if not worse than BRF cake mix. And I don't think you are too into…
As long as you don't cut it with fat, oil, grease, etc. any corn based medium, if properly sterilized, could work. Grains are usually used for transfers not bulk grows, so grinding it up kinda defeats the purpose. Just use BRF if G2G transfers are too complicated/labor intensive; it's simple and less time consuming.
I still remember this one time my dog, now deceased, stole a whole box of Chik-Fil-A from me while I was attending to some other matter. I came back to find nothing there and after looking around found my dog in a dark room with nothing but an empty box. As an extraneous not she was a Great Dane/German Shepard/Akita.
Keep in mind this is a different species, but I assume a similar role applies to the blue anole. Source. On that note, I recently learned Georgia has one of the highest concentrations of salamanders and newts in the US. Seriously, there is so much rare and amazing shit around all of us it's uncanny.…
