I don't think this is a good method of nominating mods. The people in the poll can only get votes. Even someone who is hated is likely to get a few votes. I think each person needs a separate poll with a yes and no option; that way opposition can be taken into account.

I wish I could say this is surprising, but it's not. I'm just glad that most citizens seem to be aware that US involvement in Libya has nothing to do with 'stopping a tyrant.' Europe will be a satellite state of some Arab nation within the next 100 years.
