Post So anyone test windows 8 yet?

I installed test build 8250 a couple of weeks ago and so far its pretty good.
I do miss the start button though and the metro interface is ugly but it does work and is pretty fast.
Setup was breeze, even easier than win 7 it loaded all the drivers itself.
You can down load it here.

Haven't installed it yet, had a look at it - it's a little schizophrenic with the two different UIs.

MSs problem with this release is that they won't let go of their previous success. They want to keep the old UI and bring in the new one.

Apple purposely tries to avoid this trap, or else they wouldn't sell cheaper ipods. The idea being that if people want to buy a different product, it might as well be from them.

Yeah, I was looking for some official torrents. I dunno why more websites don't offer torrent downloads, it takes the load off the server for one thing but it's often a crap load faster than HTTP links. Not to mention the portability of torrent files, and the ability to pause your download halfway through.

    It just makes sense!
