Bong repair ?

SWIM just got a nice sized crack in the base of his new $250 bong. This was the first bong he ever bought and he is pretty sad Is there anyway he could repair it or are there people that repair them.

BTW, I have no idea where to put this question so I just posted it here. Mods, move it if it needs to be moved.

Hmmmm... I wouldn't think that would be too hard to fix with some sort of sealant. The question is, what kind of sealant would be good for the job? I've never had to seal up glass before, much less a glass bong.

A friend of mine had a crack in his glass hookah base so he melted some candle wax inside and spun it around to coat it. It worked surprisingly well at least for a temporary fix until you can get some glass sealant or a new bong.

Call some car windscreen repair man. Tell him to fix your bong.

Look around for someone who knows up to blow glass (tweakers). It may be able to be melted back together. Otherwise use silicone sealant.
