The Body Farm. It sounds like a horror movie, especially this close to Halloween, but I assure you it’s not fiction. Somewhere in the east Tennessee woods lie scads of actual human bodies. It’s the nation’s oldest and largest open-air collection of rotting corpses.

I've got that book! It's a fully detailed book regarding the process of how this came about. I'll see if I can find it somewhere. It's a great book and definitely worth buying.

Fascinating research. I remember seeing a BBC documentary about the body farm going back 10 or so years now. I didn't realise it had been around for 30 years.

its was a joke but you could cut up the body and sprinkle it around the place its not like any one will notice the smell

I heard about this a while back and thought it was very interesting. I dont see why people always think real crime fighting is like CSI and shit. Real police work isnt done with fancy shit. Its done by hard working people who want justice. Usually.

Yeah the CSI reference the guy made in the video made me chuckle. The thing that stood out for me though was this whole project was started 30 years ago to answer questions that there was no research on, and that research is still active and relevant today.
