Hoover is owned by a Chinese company out of Hong Kong named TTI Floor Care. They also own Dirt Devil, Royal Vacuums, Vax USA, Second Nature, Medisana USA, and Nomad. So you have to either accept that an affordable vacuum is a disposable piece of shit or pay through the noce for something like a Kirby.
