[h=4]We're dedicated to helping people, everywhere, make an impact.[/h] Despite our do-gooder mission, you won't catch the lingering scent of patchouli in the hallway. Causes is a tech company that is focused on providing smart solutions to tough problems.
Walk into our office and you'll quickly know if Causes is the right place for you. On any given day, you'll find developers pairing up for coding sessions, talks from nonprofit superstars, and a spirited debate about the latest TED talk. We're a close-knit team that brings passion to everything we do--from designing elegant products to building sculptures out of spaghetti.
Sound like you? Join us.

[h=2]Meet the engineering squad[/h] Causes.com engineers are an elite, close-knit A-Team of big thinkers, night owls, and weekend rock climbers. Every day our programmers take on a series of tech challenges together; walk around the Causes.com office and you'll see developers pairing together and sharing tips. To unwind, you'll find them playing ping-pong, enjoying a cold beer or two from the Keg-a-rator, giving quick tech talks, and releasing their own open-source projects. If you're wildly talented with a desire to do meaningful work, we want to hear from you. Have a look at our current openings:
[h=4]Systems Engineer[/h] Are STONITH and shebangs your thing? Do you sweat that if you do your job right, you'll end up with a perpetual motion machine? Can you teach us any new "man page" jokes?
Apply: Email your resume (.txt or .pdf) to [email protected] with Master of Puppets in the subject line.
[h=4]Front-end Engineer[/h] Is your code so elegant there should be a more elegant way to describe it? Can you make things look amazing in browsers that don't technically exist, or should have died years ago? Do you have a slightly unhealthy obsession with CSS attribute ordering?
Apply: Email your resume (.txt or .pdf) to [email protected] with Delightful Code in the subject line.
[h=4]Back-end Engineer[/h] Are you a non-evil genius? Do you enjoy solving hard problems fast and well? When you need a break from coding, do you code something else?
Apply: Email your resume (.txt or .pdf) to [email protected] with Non-Evil Genius in the subject line.
[h=4]Data Engineer[/h] Are you two sigmas above the mean? Do you appreciate http://xkcd.com/552/ on a deep, fundamental level? Have you ever been tempted to write your own file system/storage engine? Do you like OK Cupid blog posts, but not their lack of rigor?
Apply: Email your resume (.txt or .pdf) to [email protected] with Glowing Patterns in the subject line.
[h=4]Email Engineer[/h] Can you show mass comm infrastructure who's boss? Do you troubleshoot from the hip? Are you a spam musubi aficionado?
Apply: Email your resume (.txt or .pdf) to [email protected] with Email MacGyver in the subject line.
[h=4]Performance Engineer[/h] Could you speed up Google's multi-millisecond response times? Do you think "performant" should be an adjective in the OED? Is a 1GB L1 cache a good idea or a bad idea?

Do you wake up in the morning eager to create feature lists? Can you thrive in a team atmosphere and drive everyone towards a common goal?
