I have a deep personal revulsion for several of the threads regarding pedo topics, but I would never suggest banning someone for it. I spoke my mind on the matter and moved on, this was not easy.
Sanchez pushes our buttons and in our reaction to his viewpoints we improve our argument against them, this is why I value him as a part of the totse community. As for him being a moderator, I would have to have some good reasons supporting ditching him, like he was deleting opposing viewpoints, or abusing the position in some way. As long as he checks his forum daily, starts topics etc. his personal opinions are his own, same as any other totsean, and removing his modship because of those opinions, however revolting they may be is against the basic precepts of totse. What's the point of having a "report post" button then? Nothing said here is against the rules since it's 100% free speech. In fact, how can I abuse the report post button? I'm using my RIGHT to complain about what someone else said. Not infractable.

My mod is easy, OI is a quiet pool, and I enjoy that. Sanchez encourages dissent in his forum by bringing up topics in ways that push peoples buttons and get them pissed off. Pissed off is good, people write good posts when they are pissed off. The best way to make someone aware of their beliefs is to challenge them to defend them, in the course of doing so they are forced to make their point clear to both themselves and the reader.
Sanchez is a good mod, because he encourages controversy and puts himself in the middle of the shitstorm that ensues. If you want something boring, go to hipforums, really, just try to say one fucking thing that deviates from their bullshit hippie liberal idea of free speech. Having an aversion to associating yourself with a website that promotes child porn/rape is not being overly sensitive. It is exercising common sense given the times. This common sense is a desirable characteristic in a community and it's members.
