I've been looking for ages. All I can find is the crap that everyone knows, Dre, Nas, snoop, biggie, all the mainstream stuff.

What's this type of hip hop called? You know in movies when the movie's protagonists drive past a group of thugs on a corner with them blasting this shit from their boombox? Does anyone know any artists that do this type? Fuckin love this music.
