Apparently, the buyer of the software is trying to get his money back. Unfortunatly, I cannot run the website without a legal version of Vbulletin. Either i need to get together money to buy a licence, or some other option.

Really? Well it says it includes a keygen and what not. How do they tell that it's not legit? Does VBull constantly check in to their servers or something? I thought you just download their software and install it as if you own the shit, wtf? God I fucking hate Vbull.
How can they shut down your site? How would they prove it unless it has some call back feature? The "Scene" usually prevents any call back features as per rules. I have no idea how it all works but I find the only thing they could do is shut down your forum at most or disable it and that's only if there is a call back feature that has to exist.
I'd be surprised if the Scene cracked copy doesn't work.
