Upbeat Hip-hop?
I need to find some music, but I have no idea what the genre is. It's kinda like the same sorta beats as the Beastie Boys, just without the lyrics. The sort of stuff that ghetto people used to have on cassette tapes which they'd stick in their boomboxes.

Old school hip-hop sounds like it could be right... It's quite a fitting name.
