Small business ownership

As you all know i am a follower of Marxism. However i'd like to make clear that I do believe in the free market to a small extent. I believe that owning a small business should be allowed but all major businesses such as Military banks vehicle medical and other essential areas of industry should be under the control of the state. Even though it is an evil it is a necessary evil to allow small degrees of capitalism in a Socialist state.
Lenin himself saw this and instituted the "New Economic Policy". this was when he rejected war communism and began to allow small degrees of private ownership and trade among the people.
Another great communist who realized this was Deng Xiaoping when he introduced necessary reforms without rejecting socialism. He listed 4 cardinal principles that could notbe broken and they were
I believe that the New economic policy of Lenin and modern day China are examples of how a socialist government should be run. in short keep all major industry under control of the [party but allow a small degree of private ownership until it can evolve into a truly socialist utopia. True communism can and will come but it is necessary to do it in a smart fashion. Karl Marx also realized this and knew that you could not go into true communism overnight but that it would be transition from socialism to true communism.

There would be high taxes on the owner but he would be allowed to make a profit. This is still socialist but it isn't the same as war communism where absolutely no private ownership exists.
