Running a TOR exit node

Does anyone here run a TOR exit node? Does it benefit you in any way other than being able to deny shit, and has it landed you in any accusations by your ISP? It's definitely a good idea, but I just don't want my ISP to think I'm the one doing illegal activities around the clock :P

    I ran one for 11 months, almost 24/7 before, never had any problems or been contacted by my ISP, I did it to help stop TOR from slowly dying, people want to take but they don't like to give anything back in return.

    Too sketchy at University, but if I had a machine running somewhere, then I might do it.
