    Awesome! I love watching banned movies. I've watched a few in my day but only 1 from this list: Cannibal Holocaust. I'm against censorship so that's probably the main reason I like to watch 'em. I'll check the others out.

    Check the IMDB links. They're banned in some countries. Spain etc, so they fall into the ban list but the movies are pretty unique and awesome IMO.

    Is it just me, or does The Last Temptation of Christ seem like it would be a long held secret love story between him and Judas, whos breakup ultimately ended with his crucifixion?

    I've been meaning to watch Cannibal Holocaust for a while, any input on it? Is it really as gory as everyone says? Anything good about it apart from the gore?

    I just skipped the dialogues and enjoyed the rape [ahem] and other scenes.

    I read it was supposed to be a trilogy, but the director died(murdered?) after the first one. it's a shame though, I would've liked to watch the second and third one :(

    Theres a moral message behind it.

    The message is that they're showing the natives as 'savages' when those that came there were even more of savages. Which is the reason that they're slaughtered in the end. :cool:

    cannibal holocaust was pretty awesome. the moral message made me LOL at the end. not a movie for subtlety in any way.

    titicut follies was...idk. It was extremely interesting, parts of it seemed genius, and parts were very unnerving. A good watch..but it left me feeling uncomfortable.

    next up is 120 days of Sodom aka Salo.

    The Last Temptation is only on here because it presents Jesus as a man for the most part, and not God's son.

    Cannibal, I enjoyed it, but it was the kind of enjoyment you get from watching those old exploitation movies from around that time. Nowadays, it's nothing compared to Hostel or Saw. They included two real animal deaths. That's what made that movie so controversial.

    Can't say anything about the others though. Haven't seen them.

    Don't know if it's just movies that are still banned but probably my favourite movie that was banned (at least in Britain) is Life of Brian.

    The only movie I've seen out of those is Cannibal Holocaust, and you guys are totally right, 120 Days of Sodom should be there. It's fucked up, but believe it or not, the book is even more fucked up. Good imagination exercise.
