I currently am i love the old ones especially. Iv also gotten into silver. Silver has dropped a shit ton in the last 2 months from around $30 to around $18 an ounce and gold has dropped a couple hundred dollars
My wife does, I am sort of into it. Wheat pennies mostly, we have at least a hundred. We also have assorted other coins, I have a roman counterfeit from 350 A.D. and a few coins from Napoleonic France.
i have a few real romans
i just started a wheat album i buy 100 wheats for $5 a week take what i need and put up the rest to sell.
mercury dimes and walking libertys are my fav
i have a shit ton of foriegn silver coins
im working on a 20th/21st century type set right now
Cool. I think I may have a mercury dime as well. I collect all kinds of odd stuff as well, I have old ration cards from ww2, campaign buttons from one of Eisenhower's campaigns, an old blunderbuss that's been in the family a long ass time. A bunch of boxing manuals from the 1920's back to the early 1800's. Just whatever shit I come across that strikes my fancy.
i have atleast half a set of mercury dimes and a bunch of junk ones for silver hoarding i have hundreds of old books including a 1908 4th edition book of mormon valued at $400 that im trying to sell for half that and having a hell of time getting rid of it
i have a lot of silver sixpences and florins like this
my fave would have to be Egyptian eygpt has some realy cool coins.
foreign coins look better then american coins i think i have an equal amount. old foreign silver coins are cheap and based on the silver melt value in the coin. pre 1964 american silver costs around 20X face which is more then there silver content.
I used to collect coins but my whole collection got ripped off when my house got robbed.
I mostly had coins from the different places we have traveled to.
