I think that Derek Roddy is up at the top of the list. He is truly amazing.
I listen to a lot of metal so that is probably why i think he is very good.
Yep, these two. Arguably the two best drummers living drummers. Neil Peart and John Bonham deserve a mention as rock drummers. There's some pretty amazing jazz drummers too - Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham etc.
This is the best drummer who ever lived... even better than Peart... and that's saying a lot. 64th notes on one hand, plays the bass drum with a stick, hits cymbals underhanded as well as overhand, 70 years old and still playing like a fucking madman. Nobody can replicate this guy... NOBODY.
