I tried to tell Zoklet management to use Twitter but they didn't listen. Just to prove my point that twitter works I setup a test forum [The Marketing Forum] and used my account to pull in member. The test ran successfully and we pulled around 50+ unique members from twitter in few seconds. That my friends is the power of twitter.

Since Twitter works differently and new users don't understand the concept, I will make it easier for you.
A) Go to http://twitter.com/ Sign up and fill the profile with some good information and mention Totse.
Read the twitter FAQ.
C) The most important. http://twitter.com/dfg <-- Follow me.
D) Download Tweetdeck if you're seriously want to use twitter or use the website.
After that whenever I post something, like:
Ahhh...Houston, We have a problem http://bit.ly/95fJX4 <--
You have to retweet it.
That just means you're going to post them same content again. This will bring in more users.
Syntax:
RT @Dfg: Ahhh...Houston, We have a problem http://bit.ly/95fJX4
It's simple and trust me it works. This is easier than doing all the FYW operation or doing crazy stunts. This will bring in NEW UNIQUE members and if we play our cards right, we will succeed.

You will the start following me, it means whatever I post you will see it.

You want to have more followers so they can see what you're retweeting. So if you want to get more people to follow you try this:
1. Find one random person
2. Click on their follower list
3. Follow as many of those people as you want
Eventually, some of them will follow you back. I followed about 140 people and in a couple hours, around 15 of them followed me back.
Give it a day or two, then use http://manageflitter.com/ or http://mytweeple.com/ to do a mass purge of everyone who hasn't followed you back.
Rinse and repeat.
