I thought the IPC J-STD-001 soldering tests were easy. Some people I worked with had trouble. It's really annoying to have to touch up joints that have a bubble of solder that isn't even in contact with the pads on a through hole part. I don't think it takes a genius to see that it was fucked up.

I've had issues with this sometimes too. If I was a smoker I'd be fine...but since I'm not I just have to mentally tell myself use a deeper voice before I start talking. My other issue is that I'm usually a lot more tired than I think I am. The days where my voice is fucked up is usually when I'm 4-5 hours short on sleep.
