What's the point in thread tags? Are they purely just for searches in-site, or does Google pick up on them too? Or what

The tags are used for Vbulletin Search only. I don't think Google picks it up.

Do you have autotagger? Tags are good way to navigate around forums, I know I use them to find related threads.
