Marxists who hate Gorbachev

Onme trend among most socialist/Marxists that I hate is all the hate towards Michail Gorbachev. They act as though Gorbachev was a capitalist who turned against Marxism when he became leader o the USSR.. they act as though h somehow betrayed the revolution. This is bullshit because even to this day Gorbachev is a Socialist.
I agree that Glasnost and perestroika were poorly managed but they were designed with good intentions. It was Boris Yeltsin who dissolved the ussr and was the bitch boy of capitalism. Yeltsin was the one who privatized the industry not Gorbachev.
Gorbachev was faced with multiple crisis's when he assumed power. He aced a disastrous war in afghanistan and severe stagnation as a result o that war and the arms race with america. He did what he could to try an save the Soviet union but in the end he failed. In the end I regard him as one o the great socialist leaders and not a capitalist lapdog that some Marxists claim he was.

OK so we are the only mammal without instincts or subconscious behavior patterns. Socialism's spirit is not about changing human nature. Out of all the stupid comments I have witnessed over the last 49 years that is by far the most ignorant thing I have ever read.
