Gremlins 2: The New Batch

It's time for another Film Discussion Thread. Today we have another small monsters flick like Critters was last week, Gremlins 2. Spielberg did this clearly for the money, but it was still very entertaining. How many clocks are set to 420 in this movie? A lot!

Plenty of pop culture references, topics on modernism, big business/corporate take-over, and genetics. It also doesn't help to have a fairly hot redhead running around, even if she is a bitchy corporate yes woman. The comedy is dead on, and maybe even ground breaking for recognizing itself as one of the first horror/comedy sub-genre mixes to use this element so successfully (With the exception of Ghostbusters).
Thoughts? Most liked cameo? Best movie parody? Favorite character? Blast away!
