Links Hidden From Guests

Nick suggested this in the Ask Anything thread. I have seen this implemented on various forums and frankly I hate it but it's still a good incentive for users to register and if you add an agreement it just might protect us from some lawsuit in future. Again, I am being optimistic here.

All forums are excluded from this except Flesh Arts, I Need to Find it On The Web and Bad Ideas.

I thought it would be better to implement this and test it out and get your feedback.

Discuss, oh and it does affect SEO so I had to tweak it so the Google Bots don't get mad at us. Also, it has the features to limit Viral linking as well.

    Not sure I actually like this feature. I don't like the idea of hiding things from users, even lurkers. Also, I just tried accessing the site with a proxy to see the difference, but all links worked just fine?

    Great idea as long as Googlebot and other spiders can see the links.

    @TRX Do you really consider lurkers to be users?

    Works only for unregistered users and is currently implemented in porn section, BI etc.

    See Nick if this was Cocklet or any other forum, you wouldn't see this feature implemented in such a short time. So, although you hate some aspect of totse.info you got to agree we do implement things in an instant if possible :).

    Dfg, is it possible to hide an entire spoilered~ post? That would look better imo. Right now some passes show and it looks a bit clunky.
